Hello!
My name is Lev (He/Him). I'm an Environmental Science student, the assistant secretary of the Sustainability Collective, and I am running for Guild Council with Momentum.
I've been a Curtin student for almost 4 years, and I have seen first-hand the tangible changes Momentum Office Bearers have been able to achieve, including the 11:59 Universal Submission Time and 2 Tuition Free weeks; but we still have a lot of work to do!
With Momentum, I aim to fight for further changes to improve the lives for all students on campus. This includes a 48-hour grace period for all written assessment submissions, a 40% Assessment Cap so no one assessment can have a disproportionate impact on your grade, and opposing the use of unnecessary or compulsory use of gen-AI materials in classes.
I will support the interests of both domestic and international students, advocating to Curtin and the Federal Government to lower international student tuition fees, a liveable wage for all compulsory pracs and placements, and increasing Guild Discount from 10% to 15%.
I am here to fight for you and your interests, and to improve your lives on and outside of campus.
