Hi all!
My name is Zara Pearson (she/her) and this year I'm running to be a Guild Councillor with Momentum. I'm passionate about improving Curtin’s student experience and advocating for the issues that affect us all!
I am a third-year law and international relations student, so I've had my fair share of experiencing campus life and seen what can be improved, ranging from our shared learning facilities to cost-of-living relief strategies. The Guild has delivered key measures like paid pracs, universal submission times and invested in student welfare initiatives.
With Momentum, we will continue to fight for you! I will advocate for 48-hour assessment grace periods, stopping the uni merger and free exam printing. I want students to feel supported, both academically and personally, and heard on the issues impacting their daily lives.
I am here to listen to your experiences, represent your concerns and advocate for meaningful change. The Curtin Student Guild is the place to fight for better conditions, education and student support. I'm willing to put in the work, speak up in tough conversations and fight for our rights. Together, we can fight for what matters.
