Hi! My name is Kanchana and I am running to be your Health Sciences Representative in 2026! I am a first year physiotherapy student.
Although I’m in my first year, I’ve already made steps to be a part of the community, being a committee member for the Western Australian Physiotherapy Students Society, and forging relationships with students and teachers alike. I pride myself on being friendly, approachable, and understanding, key qualities that set me up to being the perfect person for the role.
As your health sciences representative, I aim to be:
- An advocate for all health science students and your problems
- Constantly seek to improve our courses and university experience
- Hold and facilitate events to improve connection between all health science disciplines
- Be your representative on guild boards and committees
Above all else, I want to create and form genuine connections with as many of you as possible, I’ve had the pleasure to make a start on that already, and I could not imagine being part of a better faculty. It would be my honour to serve and represent you all.
