Hii, I'm Ashley! (She/Her)
I'm a second year commerce student and I'm running to be one of your Guild Councillors! As an international student, I hope to bring a genuine perspective on the student life and be a voice for all students, whether our experiences are similar or differ entirely, I'd be honored to fight for your right to be seen and heard so we are all able to make the best of our campus experience.
The guild has been delivering for students with student saver meals, scoring a second tuition free week, and they've always advocated for the good of all Curtin students and there is more to fight for!
If elected, I will advocate with Momentum (to Curtin and the federal government) for lower international student tuition fees as they currently take advantage of those seeking an education and better future for themselves and the ones they love. I will fight for a $10 meal cap at Cafe Central so more students can afford fulfilling and nutritious meals, better UniLodge housing conditions, reduced hidden fees, a 48 hour grace period for written assessments and so much more!
