Hello! My name is Faris Moktar and I am running for Ethnocultural Officer of 2026. I'm a second year Commerce student.
I believe that University should be a place to cultivate intercultural discussions and maintain universal respect for diversity. That is why with this role, I'd like to ensure the University is an inclusive place for people of all upbringings. The primary ways I will try to implement this directive is through facilitating community for the people, aiding with student concerns, implementing insights from the student body, and, ultimately, upholding optimum communication with students.
Through these endeavours, I hope to make the University a comfortable place for people of all ethnic and cultural background to share and experience to their utmost liberties.
