Hello guys! My name is Zahra Mohammad Reza and I am running for the Guild Councillor!
As a student, I know that university is more than just passing exams, attending tutorials and lecture. It’s about finding your people, getting involved, feeling represented and having a university experience that you enjoy!
Since I have started my journey in Curtin, I’ve had the opportunity to get involved in different clubs and communities across campus, and I’ve seen how much of a difference student involvement make. I want to bring the same energy to guild Council and make sure students feel like they have a voice.
As a Guild Councillor, I want to advocate for a more connected and inclusive Curtin community, where student from all background feel comfortable getting involved. I want to support more opportunities for students to meet each other, discover new clubs and societies, and build friendships outside of classroom.
I also want to make sure student feel heard. Whether it’s concerns about university life, accessibility, student services, clubs and societies, or simply feeling disconnected from campus, I want to be someone students can approach and know that their concerns will be taken seriously.
University can be stressful, and sometimes having a strong community around you makes all the difference. I want to help make Curtin a place where students feel supported, represented and genuinely excited to be part of the community.
I am running because I care about making the most of our university experience and I want to help make Curtin better for all of us!
