Student Assist Drop Ins

Need advice, support or guidance? Drop in and chat with the Student Assist team.

Every Wednesday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, Student Assist will be available at TL Robertson Library Level 4, Room 404 to provide free advice and support for Curtin students. No booking is required.

Drop-in sessions are offered in 15-minute appointments, giving you the opportunity to discuss your situation and explore your options. If a matter requires more in-depth support, our team can help arrange a longer appointment.

Academic & Misconduct Matters

Advice and support with:

  • Academic and General Misconduct allegations
  • Assessment extensions
  • Academic progress and academic status matters
  • Enrolment and course-related issues

  • Understanding University policies and procedures
  • Draft reviews

Non-Academic Support

Advice, advocacy and referrals for:

  • Financial hardship
  • Personal, welfare and wellbeing concerns
  • Accessing University and community support services

Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Support

Independent advice on:

  • Supervisor concerns
  • Candidature and milestone requirements
  • Scholarships and funding
  • University policies and procedures
  • Complaints and other HDR-related matters
