IET on Campus is a community of engineering an technology students both within Curtin and with IET clubs from other universities. Join us and be part of a fun, sociable, and engaging student community

The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) is one of the world’s largest engineering and technology institutions with Over 168,000 members in 150 countries. It is also the most multidisciplinary – to reflect the increasingly diverse nature of STEM in the 21st century.

The IET is working to engineer a better world by inspiring, informing, and influencing our members. The IET strives to reach senior professionals, young professionals, and students around the world. It is because of the latter that the Curtin IET On Campus was formed. Curtin IET on Campus is guided by experienced engineers and technology professionals who offer a direct connection to industry, as well as current trends and ways to develop yourself from a student to an equipped industry professional.

Curtin IET on Campus is a student led club, focusing on incorporating soft skills such as leadership and communication with academic skills, running both social and technical events/competitions. It also offers professional development workshops which exposes members to industry professionals who share their valuable experiences.

The club is a great opportunity for students to network with IET members within and outside of university. There’s much more to the Curtin IET on Campus than this short description so sign up and find out now!

The Curtin Student Guild recognises the Whadjuk Noongar people as the traditional owners of this land, and pays respect to elders past, present, and emerging.
