Free period products now available at Murray Street Campus
Students at Curtin’s Murray Street Campus can now access free period products through a new dispenser installed on campus.
The dispenser is located at P05.209, making essential period products more accessible to students when they need them.
The installation follows advocacy from Faculty of Business and Law Representative Ebony Whitney, who has been working to improve the services, spaces and safety available to students at the Murray Street Campus.
This new dispenser builds on the free period product program already available at Curtin’s Bentley Campus through the Guild Women’s and Queer Departments, and at the Kalgoorlie Campus through the Women of WASM Club.
Ebony is continuing to work with students and the University on further improvements at Murray Street. Students with questions, concerns or ideas about services, facilities or safety at the campus are encouraged to contact her at business@guild.curtin.edu.au.
