Hi everyone, my name is Cooper (He/Him). I have been at Curtin for 3 years, formerly a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Science student, now a first year Mechanical Engineering student, and I am running for Faculty Science and Engineering Representative.
For the past year I have been a committee member of the Curtin Games and Esports club, where I have worked closely with executive members to create and run events throughout the year.
I value helping others, fairness and equality, learning, study and life balance, and student wellbeing.
My goal is to create an environment where those from all walks of life with a passion for learning and STEM can collaborate and develop their skills and knowledge. To reach that goal I will collaborate with all members of our faculty, and make decisions based on our collective experience, so that everyone can feel heard and represented.
I want to be someone that can assist you on your learning journey. STEM can be challenging at times, and having someone that knows the things you don’t, or knows someone that does can be a huge weight off your shoulders.
