Hi friends! My name is Vivi Choi (She/Her), and I’m a first-year Mechatronics and Computer Science student and I’m running for Guild Council!
I’ve always fought for change, and as your Guild Councillor, I’ll continue to amplify your voice and advocate for the issues that matter to you. Every student deserves to feel welcome, safe, and supported, and I’ll work to ensure Curtin remains a progressive and inclusive community.
With experience on several student councils, I know how to stand up to higher-ups and push for real outcomes, not empty promises. I am committed to addressing discrimination in all its forms, whether racial, ableist, gender-based, or related to sexual orientation. At the same time, I will tackle the everyday struggles students face, from the current parking crisis and unfair fines to the ever-rising fees; students should be focusing on their studies, not stressing over CellOPark.
