Veer Singh
Hello! I’m Veer (he/him), a third year Actuarial Science student running for the position of Ordinary Representation Board Member for 2023.
This is my first year running in the Guild elections and if elected, I would be able to bring a new perspective to help improve some of the issues experienced by Curtin students.
As someone who drives to campus, one of my biggest focuses if elected to Reps Board would be to address the mess that is parking at Curtin University. Students deserve flexible parking options, reduced parking fines and a parking system that doesn't rely on a predatory app.
If elected, I would love to help bring campus back to life but advocating for more Guild events for students and to increase funding for clubs! I am currently Desi Student Society and I think club events would help make daily life on campus a lot more fun and engaging.
