Hannah Northey
Hi! My name is Hannah Northey (she/her) and I am in my second year of a double degree Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations. I am running to be a member of the Ordinary Representation Board.
Throughout my time at Curtin I have been involved in university life and student engagement. I am a member of Curtin Volunteers as well as being a New to Curtin Mentor and a representative on the Student Consultative Committee for the Faculty of Business and Law.
I believe I am the best candidate because I value the student voice. Not only am I a great communicator who is passionate about fighting for equal opportunities and a better student experience, my participation speaks for itself as to me there is no doubt that all Curtin students deserve to feel respected, heard and fought for.
If I am elected as a member of the Ordinary Representation Board, I intend to fight for all of us, the students, for a more enjoyable university education and experience. Some of the actions I will work towards include abolishing cello park, getting back our second tuition free week, having unit outlines released earlier and holding more student events and workshops on campus. I will fight in support of your education and welfare.
