$3,023 raised for Freedom Centre Perth through Pop-Up Thrift Markets

Thanks to the remarkable support from the Curtin community, our series of Pop-Up Thrift Markets successfully raised $3,023 for Freedom Centre Perth.

The Pop-Up Thrift Markets, held on campus, offered a wide range of pre-loved clothing, accessories, books, and more for a small entry donation fee. The proceeds from the bustling markets were donated to supporting the Freedom Centre Perth—a champion for empowering young individuals, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community.

The success of the markets can be attributed to the collective efforts of the Curtin community. Generous donations from students and staff created a treasure trove of unique items, delighting shoppers while contributing to a worthy cause.
