WASM GUILD ELECTIONS 

The WASM Guild Elections are held annually in October to elect next year's student representatives.

The WASM Student Guild represents all students at WA School of Mines campus in Kalgoorlie. As the Curtin Student Guild is our parent organisation, we are able to support, represent and organise social events for students.

Notice of Ballot

At the close of nominations at 17:00 on Wednesday 9th of March 2022, two (2) eligible nominations for the position of WASM Postgraduate Officer were received by the Returning Officer.

Voting

The date of polling is to be held on the 16th of March 2022:

  • In person - 12:30pm – 1:30pm
  • Online – 12:30pm – 5:00pm

Only students at Curtin University’s Kalgoorlie campus are eligible to vote in this election.
Counting shall occur for in-person ballots from 1.30pm and online ballots in Bentley (livestreamed if requested) from 5pm.

Candidates may appoint a scrutineer by written notice to the Returning Officer (Guild Secretary).
