About Morgan

I’m currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Nutrition and Food Science, majoring in the food science stream.

As a university student who works multiple jobs to afford my studies and lifestyle, I understand the immense pressure that the cost of living has caused. I have seen firsthand the impacts high prices and low wages have had on people, whether that be having to move back home, couch surf, or visit food banks for meals. I have witnessed the impact this cost of living has had on the environment. People having to opt for the cheaper, less environmentally friendly options at shops resulting in a high carbon footprint and more damage to our environment.

Everyone has the right to access cheap and nutritious meals, and everyone has the right to live and learn in a clean and safe environment.
