WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?

The supporting pillar of the Guild that takes care of admin, finance and governance.
The Secretary is elected from among the Guild Councillors each year.

• Preparing agenda and minutes for various Guild committees
• Overseeing the Representation budget and approving payments
• Briefing reps on governance rules and procedures
• Helping the Guild Executive with their projects
• Supporting and training student reps

This representative attends:

• Representation Board (Standing Invite)
• Executive Committee
• Commercial Operations Committee (Standing Invite)
• Finance and Risk Committee (Standing Invite)
• Legal Committee
• First Year Committee
