Focus for 2023

My focus this year is to:

  • Help new international students with accommodation crisis
  • Introduce a weekly event where international students can learn more about uni and make new friends
  • Try to bring more support to international students.
  • Introducing an international students hub.
  • Promote a healthy learning environment by improving counselling and other service access.
  • Help international students in their transition to Curtin University.

What does this role do?

Represent and advocate for International students.

  • Chair meetings of the International Students Committee
  • Attend meetings, including preparing a report for Representation Board each month
  • Advocate for International students rights on university committees
  • Manage social media pages and groups

I'm doing my Master of professional Engineering civil and am very glad to represent all International Students at Curtin. I'll work for our betterment and ensure all of us get support during our valuable time at Curtin.
