Chair meetings of the International Students Committee
Attend meetings, including preparing a report for Representation Board each month
Advocate for International students rights on university committees
Manage social media pages and groups

ABOUT TAHSIN

I am a second-year engineering student, and I’m proud to run for International Student President with Illuminate!

I have extensive experience in leadership and advocacy including through my role as a Curtin University and Engineers Australia Student Ambassador, a Curtin Volunteers Leader, and a Residential Advisor at Guild House, and a Social Sports Coordinator.

I’ve worked with hundreds of students, organising inclusive events, supported diverse groups, and have helped to create a campus where everyone feels welcome.

With my experience in leadership, event organisation, and peer support, I’m ready to speak up for what’s fair, represent your interests, and work with the Guild to make Curtin better for all of us.

Together, we can shape a Curtin where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
