My focus this year is to:
Create a strong foundation for the Ethnocultural Officer role
Contribute to Curtin Student Guild's response to the Racism@Uni survey
Establish a strong and active Ethnocultural Collective
Run events on campus to celebrate cultural diversity in the student community
Advocate for a dedicated Multifaith prayer space in the North of the Bentley Campus
Curtin University is a community composed of students from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds, with roots from all across the world. The Ethnocultural Officer represents all students from Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) and Culturally And Racially Marginalised (CARM) backgrounds. This officer sits on the Curtin Student Guild Representation Board, to represent the voices of these students at the Guild. This officer runs events and campaigns to ensure that the students being represented fairly and equally in all aspects of their time at Curtin University
