CIRCULAR RESOLUTION
Here's a guide on Circular Resolutions!
When a board or committee needs to make an urgent resolution or decision before a meeting can be called, a circular resolution can be issued. The Minute-Secretary of the meeting has typically been the one to issue these Circular Resolutions with the approval of the Chair of the committee.

COMMENTS TO THE MEDIA
Only the Guild President can comment on behalf of the Guild. If you get contacted by the media do not comment but take the journalist’s details and get in touch with the Guild President and the Manager - Student Engagement.
If you want something publicised, please contact the Manager - Student Engagement and together with the Guild President we will assist you.
PUBLICATIONS
The Guild President must approve the content of any publication.
GROK MAGAZINE
Grok is Curtin's student magazine with the Grok Editor overseeing:
- Grok website
- Grok Facebook and Instagram
- Editing and create artwork for the Survival Guide
- Grok print editions.

ADVOCACY
The process of raising voices in an effective manner so as to influence others. Advocacy is a means rather than an end or a product, it is about informing and educating your target group.
LOBBYING
A key activity of advocacy. It is an important advocacy activity. When we lobby, we aim to persuade or influence the actions of a certain group to support our position.
