The Multicultural Workers Collective, Curtin Guild and National Union of Students are coming together to provide a free information session for international students on skilled or temporary work visas living in Western Australia.
This session will cover:
- Migration related workplace rights
- Safety conditions at work
- Working hours cap
- Threats of visa cancellation
- Workplace Justice Visas
The session will also provide an opportunity to speak with legal and industrial experts to ask questions and get some initial advice on any other issues that multicultural workers may be facing in their workplace.
If you have come from overseas and have any questions about your right to work in WA or your wages, safety, conditions, and entitlements at work then we encourage you to come and see us.
The session is on Tuesday October 21 from 6pm to 7pm at the Guild Clubs Hub Building 106A
