Get in everyone, we’re going thrifting...

We’re collecting all the cutest, upcycled, pre-loved and vintag(y) goodies from the Curtin community for you all to browse and take to a new, loving home.

Including clothing, entertainment, homeware and décor goods! You can either donate to the market, attend to pick something up or BOTH.

Be sure to read all the info below to get the gist on how it works…

 

 

Donating Items

Where: Bring your preloved items to Guild Reception (Building 106F) Mon – Fri / 9am – 4pm

What: Items like clothing, books, games, kitchen appliances and accessories.

  • Items must be in good, working condition.
  • We will not be accepting any broken or soiled items.
  • All clothes/accessories must be clean and free of stains.
  • We will not be accepting any undergarments including socks, underwear, bathers and hosiery.
  • We are not accepting bulky items. (no large furniture items.)

If you would like to enquire whether an item is appropriate to donate to our market, please email events@guild.curtin.edu.au

When: We are accepting donations until 11 August.

 

 

How does the Market work?

Market Open:

Tuesday 15th August / 10am – 3pm

Wednesday 16th August / 10am – 3pm

Thursday 17th August / 10am – 3pm

Visit the The Retreat (B106D) and pay your donation entry fee during the market opening hours above to browse the markets and take home as much or as little as you’d like!

 

 

Entry Fee:

To enter the market, please donate a EFTPOS fee (amount of your choice)

 

 

Small Business Stalls

A handful of fun sustainable small businesses are setting up shop on the Wednesday of the Thirft Markets!

Where do donations go?

Proceeds will be donated to Make Renting Fair which is working to reform the WA Residential Tenancy Act to make it fairer for 700,000 people renting in Western Australia, including many thousands of students.
