- Start Strong and Be Clear. Immediately identify who you’re nominating and why. Begin with key points, like a news story, and provide more details as you go. Cover the nominee’s identity, role, notable work, and impact upfront to give judges clear context.
- Provide Evidence and Specifics. Include specific examples that show how the nominee’s achievements have made a positive impact, aligning with the award criteria. Use measurable results and real evidence, like links to articles, case studies, or testimonials, to back up your claims.
- Highlight Outcomes and Impact. Detail what the nominee accomplished and how their work made a difference. Be clear about outcomes without exaggerating but don’t hesitate to highlight the nominee’s excellence.
- Stay Focused and Passionate. Refer back to the award criteria to ensure you’re meeting key points. Let your passion for the nominee shine through with relevant anecdotes or personal stories to make the nomination more engaging.
