PPIA (PERHIMPUNAN PELAJAR INDONESIA DI AUSTRALIA) or Indonesian Student Association in Australia is an organization that consists of students that are come from Indonesia not only to study but also tried to introduce our culture to Australia. As an organization, our vision is to make the members of our organization can get used to Australia and can be a place where they can learn on how an organization works. We as an organization are welcoming any students from any country to join our organization. Every semester we plan a lot of events so that our member could feel relief after their hard words in studying such as sports event that called GERAK, games in finding treasure that is called Instahunt that involve social media, there is also event called Autumn Hangout that are held in Curtin every year so that the members can enjoy the singing performances from the singer and the band that are formed by the students. Every year our organization collaborate with other universities held an event that called SERENATA which is a remake of our previous event that called GAYANA. In this event, we introduce our culture by inviting Indonesian dancers, artist to perform and we also open up a temporary art gallery to show artistic creations that are made by our division in art students. The funds that we gain from this event then we contribute it to one of the social care association in Indonesia.
