Find out what you can and can’t do during your degree by completing Curtin’s mandatory Academic Integrity Program (AIP) covering important topics about ethics, referencing, plagiarism, cheating and misconduct.
Students new to Curtin University need to complete and pass the Academic Integrity Program in OASIS to avoid a sanction (the withholding of your final grades for the semester).
Things like copy and pasting from a website are not okay. Just don’t do it!
Curtin Library also has some great online resources to help you as well.
You may be tempted to use help from a friend, family member or an online company offering writing or tutoring services, but this may put you at risk for contract cheating and potential blackmail.
See more on Curtin's website.
Student Assist is the free support and advocacy service of the Curtin Student Guild.
Our officers are unbiased, confidential, and—most importantly— run by the Guild, therefore completely independent of Curtin University
