Be prepared, clear your mind and know your rights around exams and final assessments!

One of the most effective ways to prepare for exams is to practice taking past versions. This helps you get used to the format of the questions, and - if you time yourself - can also be good practice for making sure you spend the right amount of time on each section.

Get together with friends for a study session. You may have questions that they have the answers to and vice versa. As long as you make sure you stay focused on the topic for an agreed amount of time, this can be one of the most effective ways to challenge yourself.

Checkout your Faculty Facebook group to see all online study sessions leading up to exams!

To submit your assessment extension request, you will need to go through the online form on OASIS.

The online form will guide you as to how to submit your application. Applications may be accepted up to 5 days after the submission due date/time if you can explain the delay.

Your unit coordinator is expected to inform you of the status of your application within 10 working days. If your application is successful, you will be notified of your new submission details.

Should your application be unsuccessful, you have the option to appeal this decision to the Head of School (or authorised person). This appeal has to be submitted within 5 working days from when you were notified of the decision. The outcome of this decision is final.
