About

The Curtin Film Production Society provides opportunities for Screen Arts students to network and express their filmic creativity, primarily through collaboration on audio-visual projects.

The Curtin Film Production Society provides opportunities for Screen Arts students to network and express their filmic creativity, primarily through collaboration on audio-visual projects (short films, documentaries, web-series, promotional content, etc.).

We also host social events and educational workshops, open to the wider student, staff, alumni & industry community. The CFPS helps Screen Arts students to develop their skillsets and gain experience through industry-standard filmmaking practice (focus areas include producing, directing, camera, sound, lighting, editing, production design, dramaturgy & writing).

We hope to create a community built on principles of teamwork, professionalism and creative expression.

The Curtin Student Guild recognises the Whadjuk Noongar people as the traditional owners of this land, and pays respect to elders past, present, and emerging.
