International Association of Drilling Contractors Curtin Student Chapter (IADC Curtin)

Here at IADC Curtin, we acknowledge that both service providers and contractors provide a crucial role in the oil and gas industry. Specialising in drilling specifically, we aim to advertise new and innovative technologies, as well as promote the safest drilling practices possible, all whilst connecting students with industry.  As the first IADC chapter in all of Australia, we hope to:

• Increase student awareness of drilling in the oil and gas industry,
• Organise site visits including those to real operational oil/gas rigs,
• Provide networking opportunities to students from a variety of disciplines including engineering, geology, science, commerce and information technology,
• Give informative technical and non-technical presentations to aid in
• student studies; and
• Promote new and exciting internship/graduate opportunities from realworld
• companies.
