The Curtin Economics Society was founded in 2017, with the aim to connect students studying social sciences such as economics, international relations, law and many other majors to industry.
Our primary aim is to provide students with career development options which involve networking, learning and participating in discussions.
This primary aim is done through hosting various events such as presentation evenings, cocktail nights, case studies, job application tips with industry personal. Furthermore the second objective of the club is to empower students to obtain, retain and develop leadership skills which will help them throughout their career.
As a base club for economics students, we welcome all majors interested in understanding how the economy works and its underlying details as this is the foundation for a country.
