About

AMS acts as a country-based club consisting mostly of Malaysian students that study in Curtin University Bentley campus.

The primary aim is to gather as many Malaysians as possible, especially those who are just starting their university life in Perth. The club acts as a ‘second home’ for its new members through various support offered by the existing members or seniors of the club.

The support that AMS offers ranges from something as basic as organising events to meet other Malaysians that share a common language, food and atmosphere to something more significant such as networking events and linkage to other organisations. Therefore, AMS as an association wants to contribute back to its members at the end of the day thus strengthening the relationship between the cub and its members.

Furthermore, the club also acts as a platform for its members to be in leadership roles within the club as well as network and seek out potential mutually-beneficial partnerships or collaborations with relevant organisations. This allows its members to have a sense of teamwork and be open to new ideas and opinions from one organisation to another.

In summary, AMS is a club that consists mainly of Malaysian students of Curtin University Bentley campus that work together in organising social, cultural and academic events as well as bridging the gap between the club itself and external organisations for its members.
