The Guild Clubs are a great way to get involved in uni life outside of the classroom. Just pick one that suits your interests and looks like fun!

The Guild offers significant financial and administrative support to all registered Clubs to enable them to operate efficiently and provide their members with increased services.

Clubs are responsible for running many student events, activities, trips and functions each semester. With over 60 Clubs on campus which support around 3000 students, Clubs are definitely worth checking out.

How to Join a Club:

If you are interested in joining a club it's as easy as emailing the appropriate club and informing them that you wish to join. The club will respond with information including: membership costs, what is included in the membership fee, where to sign up, the events schedule for the semester and any other relevant information. How to Start a Club:

If you have a particular interest that is not currently catered for, it is still possible to start up your own Club a few easy steps.

Guild Hiring Procedure

Registered Clubs can hire items from the Guild including: Tables, BBQ, PA System, Popcorn Machine and Fairy Floss Machine.

You can organise hire of these items by visiting Guild Reception (Bld 106F) and filling in the Hire Form. All items require you to pay a bond at Guild Reception. When the items are returned in the same condition as they were given to you, the bond will be returned to you.

Academic Clubs

Academic Clubs link you with other students studying in your divisions. There's a club for nearly every subject including: Architecture, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, Public Relations, Health Promotion, Nursing & Mathematics. More    

International Clubs

If you're an International Student, there may be a club that represents your country at Curtin. There are currently lots of clubs that represent students from around the world including Asia, Oman, Indonesia, China, India & Vietnam. More    

Issue Based

Issue Based Clubs are for those students who like to discuss, act for and represent certain issues in society and at University. Currently, Curtin Uni Local Drug Action Group & Socialist Alternative can be found in this category. More    

Social Clubs

Social Clubs cater to students who enjoy extra activities & events outside of the classroom. Universe & The Beer Appreciation Society are some of the popular examples of the social clubs on offer. More    

Special Interest Clubs

Have an interest in Fashion & Textiles, Robotics, Anime, Poker or something else? These unique clubs are fun and of you're special interest isn't catered for, you can register your own! More    

Sports Clubs

Anyone for Tennis, Baseball, AFL, Netball, Soccer, Rugby, Hockey, Karate, Judo? How about Scuba Diving? Sports minded people love these sports clubs. More    

Religious Clubs

Religious Clubs include: the Curtin Be With Buddha Society, Curtin Muslim Students Association, Curtin Christian Union, Overseas Christian Fellowship and the Curtin Catholic Association to name a few. More
