Regulations

Division One – General

Division One of the Regulations deal with the general structure of Guild boards and committees, Guild membership and who may be a Guild representative. the offer a detailed set of definitions and information on how to change and interpret the Regulation and Rules. Division Two – Elections

Division Two of the Regulations deals with the elections of the Guild and how they shall be run. It contains vital information on the conduct of all parties involved with Guild elections including, but not limited to, the Returning Officer, candidates and Guild staff. Click here for more.


Rules

The Rules of the Guild outline standing orders, duties and responsibilities of all representatives, staff, clubs, committees, boards and departments of the Guild. It also contains Guild Membership guildelines. Click here for more

 

Policy Statement Smoking F1.5

The Guild is committed to providing a healthy smoke free working environment. To ensure this we offer a non-smoking policy. This procedure is to the benefit of all non-smokers, and is also to assist in the encouragement of those who wish to quit. Click here to view the policy


Statutes

The Curtin Student Guild is established under Section 44 of the Curtin University of Technology Act. Statute 4 (The Guild Constitution) and Statute 26 (The Amenities & Services Fee) directly pertain to the Curtin Student Guild and they outline the way the Guild must function in various areas.


Student Charter

The Curtin Student Guild, in conjunction with Curtin University of Technology, has developed a Student Charter. This document specifies the responsibilities that the University has to its students and vice versa.
