WE NEED YOU!

Join us again as we strike for real climate action in solidarity with school students from across WA.

We're taking a stand to demand that our leaders listen to us and end their inaction. Change needs to happen, now.

9:20am FREE BUS from CURTIN STUDENT GUILD
10am UNI PRE-RALLY at STIRLING GARDENS
11am MAIN EVENT at FORREST PLACE

A bus will be provided to transport students from the Curtin Student Guild (106F) at 9:20am to the University contingent pre-rally at Stirling Gardens, where we will see other university students from around the state and march to the main event in the city at for 11am.

Australia is experiencing a climate emergency, with First Nations people and front line communities in the thick of it. Prolonged droughts are crippling farming communities and unprecedented floods are creating chaos. Homes and cities are under threat from catastrophic bush fires and severe cyclones. Heatwaves are sweeping the nation. Our reefs are dying and our forests are under attack.

Anyone can see that action is necessary, yet our politicians continue to endorse new fossil fuel projects like fracking and the Adani coal mine. We are demanding that our leaders take the action we urgently need, committing to targets like a just transition to 100% renewable energy and a net zero of carbon emissions by 2030.

In this fight for climate justice, we need to ensure that everyone's voices are heard - join us September 20 to make sure yours is.
